Lovers

I am happy with this, this is getting there, not for the actual image but for the way the paint was applied, The picture may look the same as the others to you, its just "little" things that went right for me.

Thanks to Peter Forret the Photorapher who gave me permission to use his photo as a reference.

Flamenco Dancer 2

I have already painted this a week or so ago, I thought I would have another go ! I prefer the other to this one myself , I tried to add colour and to lighten it up a little.

Close up

I had to slim this girl down quite a bit and change her clothes, she has ended up looking like my wife "Deb" strange! Thats me in the hat!

Flirt

Its taken longer to think of a name for this painting than it took to paint it, I give up !
It looks like a easy image to title but just try it without being to obvious, actually ive had a good laugh thinking of daft titles for it ..... "DAVE".... was the best I could think of.

Last Dance

This painting was not quite dry, the flash is reflecting in the wet paint a little but you can still see whats going on, been there ! seen it, done it, hope to do it again !

Flamenco Dancer

I find it quite difficult to paint highlighted skin tones from out of the darkness, I usually paint very quickly but this painting slowed me down a little, I will try some more !

Thanks to catherine Hartley for permission to paint her gorgeous pup ( haze)

FIRST LIGHT

This is a painting of local people shooting out on the feilds of Northumberland, I have painted this scene many times, I do not "shoot" myself, I like the calmness In the painting, the people and dogs all change each time I paint it but it always has the same sort of atmosphere.

HOT GOSSIP

Iwas originally going to name this painting "boredom"
but thought Hot Gossip suited the woman on the right
who is just about cooked.
