Glory Days


Oil on canvas 24"x 20"

I took a photo of these three girls running through the streets of Newcastle on their night out, i moved them around a little and changed the back ground, it was nice to paint.

    I love your paintings of people at night. What I can't figure out is how you manage to photograph moving people at night, do you use a flash?

    I usually work from the photots i take , I add light and shade, change colours and move things around to get the painting i am after,I dont take photos in the dark, its light until 11pm over here in the summer and I made it look dark using oil paint !! / Keith
